Compositive Primary opening on our campus Fall 2019! Heather Mock, Head of School, and Marcie Prokupek, Director of Outreach, held an informal Q&A at Milk & Cookies meeting on November 30th. Compositive will open a unique school for ages three to fifth grade on 3.6-acres on the Fitzsimons Innovation Campus. This workplace-based school offers year-round and extended day education. Compositive supports every child’s capacity to reflect and learn, recognize and act, care and connect, and engage and serve. The curriculum integrates cognition, character, health and well-being, and community engagement. The school will open with 68 students for 3- and 4-year-olds, kindergarten, and first grade, increasing to 140 students as it adds a grade each year thereafter. Compositive offers a 9:1 student to teacher ratio with multi-age groupings of children within a classroom. The school’s mission is to prepare its students to lead lives of personal excellence, full of purpose and meaning.
